Hello Doolittle Families,

Happy Mother’s Day to all our Doolittle moms.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Next week we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week
at Doolittle School. We moved it back one week so our
teachers were back from Nature’s Classroom.

Lobby Guard is Coming!!
Over the next few weeks, we will be joining all Cheshire
Public Schools in implementing the use of the LobbyGuard
entry management system.  All visitors to Doolittle will
need to have photo ID. Visitors will use their Id to create a
visitor sticker to wear while in the building. This system will
provide another layer of security to help ensure the safety
of all members of the Doolittle community.

A few other notes:
When coming to visit Doolittle School, please do not allow
“tailgaters” to follow you in the building once access has
been granted. Please do not go to the classroom without a
prior appointment with the teacher.

Hello Doolittle Families,

Finally we have some warm spring weather.

Our SBAC testing schedule got off to a great start this week.
Our students in grades 3-5 will finish up next Wednesday

Next Week many of our 6th graders will attend Nature’s Classroom
for a full week! We consider Nature’s Classroom to be school
in an alternate location – It’s NOT a just field trip! Students are
outside and on-the-go all week. They participate in many activities
and learn from Nature’s Classroom Teachers who have expertise
in a variety of fields. The experience helps them deepen the
friendships they have created as well as build new relationships
with other classmates. Nature’s Classroom is a great way to
prepare our students for the additional responsibility that they
will take on at Dodd. It lets them see that they can take care
of themselves.

More information is available at their website:

Doolittle School will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week
from Monday 5/14 through 5/18 due to Nature’s Classroom.
